Mrs Croteau
My name is Stephanie Croteau and I am proud to be the athletic director and physical education teacher at St. Stephen’s. I have 10 years of teaching experience in Arizona, and over 15 years’ experience coaching both recreational and competitive gymnastics.
I have an Elementary Education Degree through Ottawa University in Phoenix, Arizona. I started my education carrier teaching second grade, then I felt God’s call to go back to my roots of athletics, and became a physical education teacher. I earned my Physical Education endorsement through Rio Salado Community College. As a physical education teacher, I have worked in two public schools in Phoenix, and I was very blessed to spend the last two years of teaching at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic School in Glendale, Arizona, before joining St. Stephen’s. I believe it is my calling to help students develop a Christ-centered growth mindset, and foster their ability achieve.
When I am not at St. Stephen’s Catholic School, I love spending time with my husband, our three beautiful kids, our amazing parents, siblings and cousins. I love making and fixing jewelry, and I also enjoy getting out to move and exercise through dancing, gymnastics, and hiking.
